What is the same everywhere
A structured price book does not care where you live. Model, storage, condition and age produce the same figure in Karol Bagh as in Koramangala. What changes is how easily you can realise it.

Local markets versus structured buyers
Every big city has a phone market where dealers pay cash on the spot. They are quick, and they are inconsistent: the price depends on who is standing in front of you and how the day is going. There is no breakdown, no recourse and no receipt worth the name.
Use them for a reality check if you like, but get a structured quote first so you know what the phone is actually worth. A cash offer that beats it is worth considering; one that trails it by 20% is just an offer made quickly.
Staying safe wherever you are
- Prefer inspection at your door to meeting a stranger with a valuable object.
- Confirm payment in your own app before handing anything over.
- Photograph the IMEI before the phone leaves.
- Do not accept part payment with the balance promised later.

Practical timing in each city
The quote is national but the logistics are not, and a slot chosen badly costs you an afternoon.
- Delhi NCR: avoid 5–8pm slots between Gurgaon and Noida. Morning slots are far more reliable.
- Mumbai: the harbour and western lines behave differently — a suburban slot booked for the evening frequently slips.
- Bangalore: mid-morning is the safest window; the ORR corridor is unpredictable either side of it.
- Hyderabad and Pune: most slots hold, though monsoon weeks are worse everywhere.
- Anywhere: if you live in a gated society, tell the rider the gate procedure in advance. Visitor entry is the single most common delay in Indian pickups.
One more local detail: if your building requires a gate pass for carrying electronics out, arrange it before the rider arrives. It is a two-minute job in advance and a thirty-minute one at the gate.
