How much is my phone worth?
Four facts decide the number: model, storage, condition and age. Everything else is detail.
The four facts
- The exact model. "Galaxy S24" and "Galaxy S24 Ultra" are different phones with different ceilings.
- The storage variant. Check Settings › Storage. It can move the price by thousands.
- The condition. Screen, body, faults and accessories, answered honestly.
- The age. Your invoice date, which decides the age band.
With those four you can price any phone in India within a few hundred rupees. Without them, any figure you see online is someone else's phone.

- Does it name your exact storage variant? If not, it is an estimate for a different phone.
- Does it ask about battery health and display originality? Those are the two biggest swing factors, and a flow that skips them will revise later.
- Does it show a breakdown? A single number with no deductions is a number designed to change.
- Is it wildly above other quotes? That is bait, not generosity — see common scams.

Why two quotes for the same phone differ
Getting three different numbers for one handset is normal, and the reasons are boringly mechanical rather than sinister.
